At Taylor Pilates and Fitness, we provide movement experiences appropriate to each client. Your exercises are tailored to your body, your activities, and your goals. All of our instructors maintain current certification in their respective movement fields and stay engaged in their teaching through frequent continuing education.

Ashley Taylor

Ashley is passionate about helping people move well. She believes moving well leads to feeling well which ultimately translates to living well. She is committed to moving people out of chronic pain and back to the activities they enjoy most. Ashley enjoys teaching all ages and abilities and has experience working with low back pain, joint replacements, shoulder injuries, pregnancy, cancer recovery, and gait training.

When Ashley is not at the studio you will find her hiking, running, skiing, spending time with family, and spoiling her Great Dane.

Krista Overly

Krista was introduced to Pilates in 2004 and knew she wanted to share the benefits of Pilates with others. In 2006 Krista completed her comprehensive Pilates teacher training and began teaching Pilates in Denver. She is passionate about helping people feel and move well so that they can be comfortable while at work or play. Krista has taken additional course work in the areas of Osteoporosis and bone density health, rotational sports such as golf and tennis, chronic pain, and low back pain while learning from countless client sessions over the past 17 years of teaching movement. 

Krista and her husband live in Denver with their two small dogs. In their free time, they enjoy the Colorado outdoors, trailer camping, reading, cooking, and planning international travel.

Stacey Sloan

Stacey was introduced to Pilates in 2006 when she was recovering from a series of injuries and quickly recognized the healing benefits of the method. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, she felt that Pilates was an important addition to her repertoire. In 2013, Stacey completed her comprehensive training with Polestar Pilates followed by Oov Fundamentals and Oov + the Pilates Apparatus coursework in 2018. She enjoys helping her clients feel strong and centered with a greater mind-body connection.

In her free time, Stacey loves to be outside enjoying the beauty of Colorado.

Rachel Algra

Rachel was first introduced to Pilates after experiencing years of chronic pain and undergoing multiple surgeries. Her success with Pilates soon turned into a passion and she became a Polestar Pilates Practitioner in 2007. Since then she has obtained extensive training in multiple areas of the Pilates industry including women’s health, neurological rehabilitation, joint replacement, disc pathologies, scoliosis, and chronic pain. She is also certified through RockTape in Fascial Movement Taping as well as Rock Blades Fascial Movement Techniques.

Originally from Minnesota, Rachel made Colorado her home in 2005 where she and her husband spend every free minute hiking, camping, and photographing their many outdoor adventures!

Hannah McElwaney (not taking new clients)

Hannah McElwaney received her Comprehensive Teacher Training Certificate from Body Arts and Science International (BASI Pilates) in 2010 and is a Member of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). Hannah’s practice focuses on rehabilitative Pilates for clients with various injuries/conditions as well as fitness and strengthening for all experience and capability levels. She worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at the Orthopaedic Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, where she taught Pilates to admitted and discharged patients. Hannah set up her practice in Denver in 2011 and she continues to educate her clients in all aspects of fitness - from the proper execution and purpose of each exercise to the importance of rest and rehabilitation.
